The Embodied Womban

I am so happy and excited to be sharing with you an offering that has been 20+ years in the making.  It began in my 20’s with my own initiation and awakening, and a gift of a movement practice that took years for me to be able to put into words.  Through various studies, trainings, and focused work on my own personal healing, it has finally come through me, with the support and help of my loving, wise and well ancestral grandmothers, this is an offering of my heart and soul…

The Embodied Womban

A journey to Reclaim your Body Sovereignty and Embrace your True Feminine Nature

When the divine feminine moves through the body, there is an awareness of a gentle, yet powerful force that flows through us, connecting and aligning our awareness with the sacred, intuitive, wise, creative energy that lives within.  It empowers and heals, allowing the full truth of who you are and who you are meant to be to shine forth.  It awakens our feminine essence to bring empathy, compassion, love, and our fierce power to this wounded earth.

This is an opportunity for reclamation and remembrance of the gifts and wisdom of the body and of our authentic feminine self under the guidance and support of our wise and well, ancestral grandmothers.

I invite you to join me on a yearlong journey through the seasonal cycles of the earth, to learn how to move our bodies in the way of our authentic feminine nature.  This movement comes from listening, sensing, feeling, and allowing the channel of the divine mother to flow through us and be in partnership with the sacred earth mother, becoming a conscious bridge between heaven and earth, to be a Spirit Embodied.

Over the year, we will engage with the earth through the seasons to inspire and inform our movement practice.

We will intentionally build our awareness of the body from the ground up through a basic understanding of the chakras and our body’s structural alignment.

We will journey with the wise and well ancestral grandmothers to bring awareness, guidance, and healing to the patriarchal wounding that is in our bodies, and then integrate their wisdom through embodied movement.

We will be held throughout the journey in sacred ceremony.

We will meet 8 times over the year, corresponding with the seasonal rhythm…

February 7th Imbolc | Introductions and Intention Setting

March 21st Spring Equinox | Grounding and Rooting

May 9th Beltane | Fluidity and Flow

June 20th Summer Solstice | Strength and Power

August 1st Lughnasa | Self Love

September 26th Fall Equinox | Expression

October 31st Samhain | Intuition and Knowingness

December 12th Winter Solstice | Integration and Rest

We will meet from 11am to 4pm with a 30min lunch break.

Our initial gathering will be an introduction of each other and learning the guiding principles of feminine embodied movement. We will journey to meet the wise and well grandmothers who will be holding and guiding us throughout the year, and gain insight in setting a clear intention in how this experience may serve your highest unfolding - What do you want to Reclaim and Embody?

In the gatherings that follow, we will work with this structure…

Our morning times will consist of connecting with the earth and her seasonal wisdom, followed by a teaching of the chakra we are working with and basic alignment of the physical structure associated with that chakra.  The afternoons will be to journey with the well grandmothers to receive healing and guidance, followed by an embodied movement experience to deepen and integrate the wisdom of our ancient grandmothers.

Price

Each Gathering is $175

Which you can pay as you go, due 2 weeks before our meet-up,

Or you can pay in full to receive 10% off ($1260)

In choosing to join this offering, you will be signing up for the entire yearlong experience.

This will be a gathering for 4-6 women who feel the call for this work.

I am asking those who would like to join to sign up by January 10th of 2026.

For the women who join, there will be an optional movement class offered (at an additional cost $35) that will take place one Wednesday evening 6-7:30 in between our seasonal gatherings to deepen and practice working with the teachings of our last meeting.

You will also receive a 10% discount on my one-on-one sessions that will provide an opportunity to gain deeper guidance and support on your personal journey and understanding of the work.

I would love to have you join me on this journey!

Earth as Elder: The Embodiment Practices

After nearly a decade of study, assistantship, and mentorship with her beloved teacher, Rachel Weitz, Sarah Humphrey now collaborates with Rachel in her latest offering, Earth as Elder. Through embodiment teachings, she will offer support in deepening the participants’ integration of the wisdom within this work. This offering takes place on the land she and her husband steward—land with which Rachel has cultivated a relationship over years of holding offerings there.

EARTH, MY BODY

The Earth speaks…

I am you, and you are me.

When you heal, I heal.

You are my bridge to the Divine.

When you connect, I connect.

We walk this journey of life together.

You have a role in my evolution

that is uniquely yours.

The body you inhabit

reveals the path you are here to follow.

This is your service to me.

I am here to tend and love you—

as the Great Mother loves her child—

and you are here to tend and love me.

Learn to listen to the wisdom of your body.

Hear the messages I am whispering to you.

In doing so,

you honor me.

EARTH AS ELDER:

The EMBODIMENT Practices

(An optional addition for Earth as Elder participants with Sarah Humphrey)

When we are in a deeply conscious relationship with the body — a relationship of listening, feeling, and honoring — we learn how to hear, understand, and follow the messages of our innate truth. These messages lead us and guide us on our path.

We remember that we are a part of all things here on earth, just as they are a part of us.

How we care for and tend our bodies matters, because it affects the whole.

It is time to listen to the body from presence and awareness, so that we may serve our highest unfolding and be in service to the unfolding of all beings of the earth.

Within this space…

  • We will learn to listen and understand how to honor and follow the wise guidance the body offers, for the body is our sacred and precious piece of earth.

  • We will connect with the body in a deeply conscious way and feel how we belong to all things.

  • We will honor sensation, allowing it to guide us into wholeness — unwinding and releasing what does not serve us or our sacred Earth Mother, strengthening and claiming what does.

  • And we will deepen the integration and embodiment of what has been revealed through Earth As Elder

Dates: April 15th, May 13th, June 17th, July 29th, August 12th, September 9th

Time:  2:45 - 3:45pm following each Earth as Elder gathering

***Please note:  The first session of Embodiment Practices (April 15th) will be from 2:45-4:15 and attendance is necessary (if you have to miss for some reason and still want to participate, it can be made up in a one-on-one session at an additional cost)***

Price: $175-$250 (pay what honors your budget)

Where: Sarah’s home (same space as Earth as Elder’s gathering)

If you are interested in adding this on to your Earth as Elder journey please email Sarah directly… Moonmamamovement@gmail.com

Earth as Elder: A 6 month Mentorship in Earth-Centered Ritual and Relationship

Spring to Fall 2026

Meets 6 Times, Monthly on Wednesdays 12pm-2:30pm

Earth is our Elder and holds the long view. Kin* (see below) is the reason we are here, and knows where we are and could be going. In these changing times, Earth is calling us to lean in, Listen, and remember who we truly are. Join us for Earth-Centered Ritual that brings us into direct relationship with the wise Earth.

This is a mentorship directly with Earth as an Elder. It is for folks who already have a foundation of Earth-connection in their lives. Gathering together allows us to go deeper in our own direct relationship with compassionate Earth, and feel the pulse and beating heart of that relationship in our personal and collective lives more consistently. If we were made for these times, we can only do what we were meant to by connecting to what is bigger than us, what loves us and what sees clearly. Come and feel the relief of being held by a community of humans and the more-than-human world, and be a part of this tending in service to aliveness.

Through Earth-Centered Ritual, drumming journeys, partner practices, and embodied earthing, we will:

  • Lean more deeply into a relationship with the Earth as an Elder

  • Bring that field of blessing forward in an embodied way to support you and your community

  • Remember in your bones that you are not separate from the Earth

  • Feel that way your presence with Earth nourishes and reciprocates you and the planet on a deep soul level

Learn more about Earth as Elder

“In Braiding Sweetgrass, Robin Wall Kimmerer redefines the relationship with nature from property to kinship, stating, “These beings are not,’it,’ they are our relatives”.  She emphasizes that recognizing nonhuman beings as kin—plants, animals, and the land—is essential for fostering gratitude and reciprocity, transforming how humans interact with the living world.”

“The language reminds us, in every sentence, or our kinship with all the animal world.”

Kimmerer often discusses “ki” as a pronoun for living beings (rather than “it”) to signify this connection. Kin is the plural pronoun for living beings, or in this case, the entire living system of the planet.

About Rachel

As a land dreamer, plant companion, and spirit ally, Rachel is a bridge to accompany others in their own direct relationship to earth and spirit. Her path has been cracked open, carved, and polished by many transformative life initiations, human and more than human teachers, and 20 years of study and practice in her Rocky Mountain foothills community.

Her medicine continues to refine itself as a deep listener and friend to the land and the loving more than human world. She is known to weave magical and transformative group containers for earth-centered ritual and to amplify other’s direct connection to earth and spirit. Through direct relationship with Earth, she’s in service to love, the plants, playfulness, and the deep remembering of our true nature. She gives thanks for her many wise teachers, including her husband and daughter.

March New Moon

March Dark Moon Temple Gathering

An Evening of Reflection, Release & Deep Rest

Once again, the turning of the moon calls us inward.

The New Moon is a sacred threshold — a dark, fertile womb space where we are invited to pause, listen, and return to ourselves. In a world that asks us to move faster, do more, and give endlessly, this is your invitation to soften.

To exhale.

To be held.

To tend to your inner landscape with reverence and care.

Under the March New Moon, we gather in intentional circle to honor this powerful time of renewal.

REFLECT

We will journey to womb of the moon to turn inward and gently illuminate what is rising in the shadows. What is asking to be seen? What feels out of alignment? What truth is ready to be reclaimed?

RELEASE

The body holds what the mind cannot always name. Through intuitive movement and dance, we will unwind tension, move stagnant energy, and allow ourselves to let go through sensation, breath, and embodied awareness.

REST & RESTORE

This is the heart of our evening.

You will be guided into a deeply nourishing restorative yoga practice designed to support integration and nervous system repair. With the optional offering of laying on of hands, you are invited to receive — to experience being supported without needing to give.

This is radical self-care.

This is sacred replenishment.

This is remembering that your well-being matters.

Details

Date: Thursday, March 19th

Time: 6:00–8:30pm

Location: Sarah’s home studio, Sanctuary of the Womb

New Moon Circle with MoonMama

New Moon Circle with MoonMama…

Honoring the Sacred Pause

Under the dark womb of the New Moon, we gather.

A circle of sistars ✨

Like-minded womben answering the ancient call to remember a time when the feminine was honored, revered, and held as sacred. A remembering written in our bones. A longing carried through lifetimes.

This is a space to slow down and attune to the rhythm of the moon.

To shed the masks worn for survival.

To soften out of doing and return to being.

To reclaim and embody our true feminine essence.

Within this sacred circle, you are invited to be witnessed—to be seen, heard, and held in community as we share our stories, wisdom, struggles, hopes, and dreams. All of you is welcome here. Nothing to fix. Nothing to prove.

Together, we will journey with our loving and wise spirit guides, opening ourselves to insight, remembrance, and gentle guidance for the path ahead. We will move our bodies in nourishing, freeing, and empowering ways through intuitive dance—allowing emotion, energy, and prayer to flow.

And in honoring the sacred pause of the New Moon, we will rest…

We will restore…

We will dream…

As we close in a deep restorative yoga practice, with the option for hands-on healing, allowing your nervous system to soften, your body to be held, and your spirit to prepare to begin again.

Come as you are.

Leave renewed, rooted, and remembering the truth of who you are.

✨ If you feel the call to join us, our first gathering will take place on the evening of the next New Moon—the Lunar New Year, February 17th, from 6:00 to 8:30 pm.

We will continue to meet each New Moon evening throughout the year, creating a steady, sacred rhythm of remembrance, connection, and renewal.

The energy exchange for this circle is $55.

Spaces are limited to keep the container intimate and supportive.
